MYSHALL COMMUNITY CENTRE
The focal point of activities in the Myshall/Drumphea area certainly
is Myshall Community Centre. The Centre is a hive of activity for most
of the year, especially during the winter months when it is essential to
book in advance. The centre is used by every age group of our community
for sporting, cultural and social activities.

The Centre is run by the Hall Committee. Committee members also include 4
representatives of Naomh Eoin G.A.A. Club and a representative from many
organisations in the parish. The high running costs include heat, electricity and insurance
and general upkeep of the centre. The annual Card Drive which ran for a record
50 years until recently also helped defray costs but this has been replaced by
an annual Whist Drive and Community Draw which raised much needed funds and is
very well supported.
